
Rustins Plastic Coating is a quick dry, water based, non flammable clear coating for use on interior woodwork..

It is Heat, Impact and solvent resistant. The Toughest clear finish for all interior woodwork,such as kitchen worktops.
Also ideal for other woodwork, Guitars, Marquetry, and Woodturnings
Preparation: Ensure the surface is smooth, dry and free of grease and contaminants.
IMPORTANT: Must be mixed with Hardener in glass or polythene container,NOT METAL.
STIR WELL BEFORE USE
Application: Mix Rustins Plastic Coating thoroughly, then add the hardener and stir thoroughly for a few minutes to ensure full mixing is achieved. Using the widest brush practical for the job, apply the mixed product to the clean surface in an even manner and avoid over-brushing.
The mixing ratio of Rustins Plastic Coating to the hardener is 20:1 by volume.
When mixed you have 24 hours to use the product (if stored at 20°C, after that it will harden). One coat is usually sufficient, but if a second coat is needed, it can be done after 2 hours.
Rustins Plastic Coating can be burnished to a mirrorlike gloss or rubbed to a satin or matt finish.The ideal temperature for application is 15–20°C. Do not apply below 10°C.
Coverage: 12 square metres per 1 litre.
Maintenance: Clean the surface with a mild soapy solution.Cleaning: Clean equipment whilst wet with soapy water.
Health & Safety: Contains cobalt 6,2-octyl-2h-isothiazol-3-one. May produce an allergic reaction.
